Consultation on Foundational Supports for people with disability

The Australian Government has opened a consultation on the design of General Foundational Supports for people with disabilities under 65. These are specific supports that would be available outside the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to help people with disability, their families and carers. Online feedback is invited from people with disabilities (whether they are on the NDIS or not), those needing extra support but who don’t identify as having a disability, families, carers, kin and advocates, and other stakeholders like service providers, early childhood services, and schools. Consultation ends 30 November.
