AusAlert Test 27 July 2026

AusAlert is a new Australian Government national warning system that sends emergency messages to compatible mobile devices to help keep people informed and better prepared during local and national emergencies. On Monday, 27 July, 2pm, a test alert will be sent to all mobile devices in Australia.

Georges River Council Winter Relief Drive: Backpacks for New Beginnings

In collaboration with Platform Nine, Georges River Council is seeking backpack donations filled with essentials and small comforts to support people seeking refuge this winter. There is a special need for men’s and boys’ items, including toiletries, socks, beanies, non-perishable food, colouring supplies, and small toys.
