Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organisation behind Sesame Street, has released a new collection of digital tools, including videos and activities featuring Sesame Street characters, to support children’s emotional wellbeing. The resources aim to help kids build resilience, overcome daily challenges, and improve their problem-solving skills.

A Boy Named Ben

A short video from Melissa Roberts Foundation and partners with a message designed to encourage children (typically around the ages of 7-12 years) experiencing trauma or hearing voices as a result of significant pain and suffering (trauma) at the hands of others, to reach out to trusted adults.

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is running clinics to provide routine childhood immunisations. The 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 4 years immunisations will be available. Catch-up immunisations available for children who may have missed a previous vaccination. No Medicare required. Bookings recommended.

Healthy Families Program (Arncliffe)

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) – Equity & Prevention Service program for primary school aged children and their families, to learn practical strategies to support healthy eating, physical activity, and emotional wellbeing. Children will also enjoy fun games and mindfulness activities. The program is delivered in English, with in-language support for families from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Owl Kids Group Program (Bankstown – Out of area)

CatholicCare Sydney group program supporting children 7-12 years who have or are experiencing parental separation. It provides children with a safe space to develop their emotional literacy through creative therapy, build resilience, and connect with other children in similar situations.
