The DAFP provides funding to support people with disability navigate local services, organisations working towards long-term social change, and policy advocacy groups run by, or on behalf of, people with disability. The DAFP SP&P and SD grants provide additional funding for areas of identified need and to build capacity of the advocacy sector:
– Category 1: Grants of $20,000 to $100,000 for Special Purposes & Projects grants for new innovative projects
– Category 2: Grants of $20,000 to $100,000 Sector Development grants for new innovative projects
