Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC) Support for Mental Health Month

TMHC hosts a range of activities during Mental Health Month (MHM) (October), with a focus on activities that promote mental health and wellbeing among Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Communities (CALD). TMHC works with other organisations and groups to support events or deliver a presentation during MHM.

Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarships

NSW Department of Education scholarships valued at $5,000 per year for up to 3 years, to a maximum of $15,000, to support NSW apprentices to successfully complete their apprenticeship in their chosen trade. Eligibility criteria applies. Closes Wednesday, 30 September.

Matana Foundation for Young People Grants

Grants of $1,000 to $10,000 are available for projects that address the causes and consequences of youth disadvantage, and by so doing, assist young people to gain access to the information, education, skills and resources that enable them to achieve social connectedness, personal significance, and social and emotional wellbeing.
Open all year round. A preliminary application is required. Once reviewed, organisations may then be invited to submit a detailed application.
