Smart and Skilled Traineeships in Mental Health
Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) delivers Smart and Skilled fee-free traineeships in CHC43515 Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work and CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health. Traineeships combine work-based training with formal training from a registered training provider. New staff who are within their first six months of employment may be eligible for a traineeship to complete a fee-free qualification. Employer incentives are also available.

Home Fire Safety Visits
People over 65 years old, those living with limited mobility, hearing or vision impairments, people supported by carers, and anyone with English as a second language is eligible for a NSW Fire + Rescue Safety Visit. They will check smoke alarms are working, install a smoke alarm or change smoke alarm batteries if needed, and may provide personalised fire safety advice.
