Sutherland Shire Council and Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation’s Jannali Moonrise Festival is named in recognition of the Aboriginal name ‘Jannali’ meaning ‘place of the moon’. The event will celebrate First Nations culture alongside a range of attractions and entertainment for all ages.

New Market to Support People in Need (Botany)
Serving Our People (SOP) is opening a charity branch in Botany. Starting in October, SOP will be opening a market where individuals can walk in and access food at no cost – everyone is welcome, whether to access food or to volunteer with SOP.
