NSW Government Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grant (EDAEG) Rounds 1 & 2
Grants to subsidise the salary, development and support costs of Aboriginal employees in NSW public service agencies, local government authorities and Aboriginal community-controlled organisations. Includes support for adult and school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, part-time or full-time employment, new and existing staff.
Round 1 is open and closes Monday, 31 August. Round 2 opens Thursday, 1 October and closes Monday, 30 November

From July to October each year, ATO accredited volunteers help eligible people earning $70,000 or less per year lodge their tax returns online, by phone, or in person at tax help centres.

Applications Open: Services Australia July-December 2026 Student Start-up Loan (SSL)
The SSL is a voluntary and tax-free loan that helps with study supplies, travel costs, and living expenses. Students can borrow $1,349 up to twice a year if they are eligible and getting Youth Allowance, Austudy, or ABSTUDY Living Allowance.

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District – Bulbuwil Healthy Living is holding vaccination clinics for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people, from teenagers to Elders.
