Georges River Life Care runs a number of community support programs and is seeking volunteers in the following areas:
– Community Connect: Help create a welcoming space where people can build friendships, share a meal, and feel a sense of belonging.
– Community Relief: Assist with food sorting, hamper packing, food collections, and supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship.
– ArtsLife: Support children and families through creative arts programs that build confidence, connection, and community.

NSW Ombudsman Services

NSW Ombudsman’s role in overseeing NSW Government agencies and funded services includes handling complaints; monitoring and assessing Aboriginal programs; Public Interest Disclosures Scheme; mandatory disease testing; community services monitoring, reviews and inquiries; reviewing all child deaths in NSW; monitoring segregation of detainees in youth detention; and providing regular reports to NSW Parliament.

Youth Action: Peak Body for Young People & Services that Support Them in NSW

Youth Action supports young people and the youth sector through capacity building, advocacy, and network facilitation. Key initiatives include quarterly sector sessions, the Ask for Health literacy program, and various policy submissions. Young people are also provided with direct decision-making opportunities.

Comfort Zone Campaign

Our Watch “Comfort Zone”, part of The Line campaign, helps young people 14–20 years navigate relationships. Using an interactive game with real-world scenarios, the initiative empowers youth to identify controlling behaviours and practice setting and communicating healthy boundaries.
