Anglicare Sydney 2026 Rental Affordability Snapshot: Greater Sydney & the Illawarra Report
The report defined an affordable rental property as one which required up to 30% of a household’s income in rent. In Greater Sydney and the Illawarra only 10 properties were affordable for any households living on income support payments. None were affordable for a family with two children on JobSeeker.
