South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD)’s South Eastern Sydney Recovery & Wellbeing College Term 1 2025 offers free recovery and wellbeing courses for people 16 and over living in the SESLHD catchment area. This includes people with a lived experience of mental distress or suicidal crisis and their families, carers and support people, as well as NSW Health staff, volunteers and students in SESLHD.
Various dates, times and locations (including online), during Term 1 2025. Open for enrolments from Wednesday, 18 December.

Group for People Living in Extremely Cluttered Environments (Kogarah)

Kogarah Community Services’ Eating the Elephant is a group for people living in extremely cluttered environments, who find it hard to declutter. The group will provide strategies for managing anxiety and for how to declutter, and to understand how to emotionally regulate and strengthen overall wellbeing.

Mental Health Protect: Training to Support the Veteran Community

Mental Health First Aid Australia’s Mental Health Protect offers face-to-face and online Mental Health First Aid or LivingWorks training to support the veteran community. Open to: Australian Defence Force (ADF) veterans and current serving personnel; families, friends, carers, employers, and colleagues of ex-serving and current ADF personnel; and health care professionals and community members supporting veterans and their families.

Eligibility applies, including being an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent Australian resident, or a humanitarian visa holder; 15+ and not enrolled at any school.
