Sutherland Shire Children’s Week Expo – Stallholder Registration due by 20 September

Sutherland Child and Family Interagency and partners are holding a Children’s Week Expo, Friday, 25 October, 10-12pm, at Cronulla Central Hall, 38-60 Croydon St, Cronulla. Local community services, NGOs and government services (non-profit) are invited to host an interactive stall (aimed at children 0-6) to engage children and families. Stallholder registration closes 20 September.

Think, Eat and Move: Online healthy lifestyle program for teenagers

Better Health Company and partners’ Think, Eat and Move is for young people 13-17 in LGAs including Bayside, Georges River and Sutherland Shire, to participate in evidence-based, health coaching sessions, focusing on building confidence and health literacy in areas like nutrition, physical activity, screentime management, and self-esteem.

Domestic violence court hearing information sessions for women (Sutherland)

Note: Dates and frequency of the sessions have changed to bi-monthly.
Southern Sydney Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (SSWDVCAS), The Family Co’s sessions for women who are victims in Apprehended Domestic Violence Order and domestic violence charge matters with upcoming dates at Sutherland Court. Led by the NSW Police Prosecutor, the session provides women with information on what to expect in a hearing and experience sitting in a courtroom.
